Sometimes when preparing food you find that you are short of a herb that is important to this recipe. It could be that your supplies have run out or it is not in season at that time. This list will help you pick a herb substitution and should work well with your chosen recipe. The flavour obviously will not be as desrcibed in the recipes so I suggest you just add half the said amount and work your way with more if needed later.

Poultry Seasoning - Sage plus: thyme, marjoram, savory, black pepper or rosemary
